Beginner tutorial on how to paint Flagstones
Posted by Annabelle Collins on
You may have seen my Dad's excellent work painting the plain stone surface of an Adventurer's Pack to look like coloured marble. In today's video we can see him painting the Flagstone tiles and he has written a little bit more about his process, and how he approaches painting as someone who has never painted terrain before (or at least, before I asked him to!). Over to you dad! Although this blog related to painting flag stones, it is really about painting old paths. You know those classic paths that were laid 100+ years ago and...

Oh man you guys! The kickstarter hasn't even gone live yet and already crazy things are happening! So ... my little DnD project (as it was six months ago) was in the Sunday paper this morning! Like ... actually in the paper, that I sometimes read in coffee shops. I could sit down in a coffee shop and see a picture of my face. It's incredibly exciting and humbling to have people get as interested in the project as they have been and it only makes me more eager to get to the point of releasing the terrain into the...

Game pieces - designed. Manufacturing - underway. Beta testing - completed. It looks like it's time for this show to hit the road! :D Hey guys! Modular Realms has been a labour of love for many months now. It's finally come to the point where I can put the website live, pictures on the internet and show you guys just how awesome this all is! This is a really exciting stage for me as it means that rather than just hearing feedback from my friends and players I can now get to hear what you all think! What designs do you...
